Copyright Policy
Respecting creators' rights
Effective 22 September 2026. Peekaflix does not permit users to upload or distribute content that infringes copyright or related rights. Uploaders must own their video and audio or hold all permissions needed for distribution through our website and mobile apps.
Submit a copyright notice
A rights holder or authorised representative can use our public Contact Us form. Select “Copyright or intellectual property” and provide:
- Your full name, contact details, and authority to act for the rights holder.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work.
- The exact Peekaflix URL for each allegedly infringing item.
- A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, where applicable, made under penalty of perjury.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We may ask for missing information. Knowingly false notices may create legal liability.
What happens next
We review sufficiently complete notices, may disable the identified material, and may notify the uploader. We maintain a repeat-infringer policy and may terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously infringe rights.
Video rights review
A creator's upload declaration is not by itself a guarantee that a video will be distributed. We may request source files, licence terms, releases, ownership records, or other evidence covering the video, audio, artwork, people, and locations shown. Content is not eligible for the iOS catalogue unless it has separately completed our rights review, is hosted by Peekaflix, and satisfies the catalogue's safety and age-rating requirements.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, use the Contact Us form and identify the removed content, explain why removal was mistaken, provide your contact details and legally required statements, and add your physical or electronic signature. We may forward a valid counter-notice to the original complainant and restore material where the law permits.
For other harmful content, use the in-product Report and Block controls or see our Community Guidelines.
