Using Peekaflix

These Terms govern the Peekaflix website, iOS app, Android app, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Community Guidelines, Copyright Policy, and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Keep your account details accurate and your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and must promptly report suspected unauthorised access. You may not impersonate others, create accounts deceptively, sell accounts, or evade a suspension or ban.

Your content and rights

You retain ownership of content you create. You may upload or share content only if you own it or have all permissions needed for every included element, including video, music, audio, artwork, trademarks, people’s image and voice, and locations. You must be able to provide evidence of those rights if requested and must select an accurate age classification.

When you submit content, you grant Peekaflix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transcode, adapt for technical formats, distribute, display, perform, and make that content available through and in promotion of the Service. This licence includes the right to use service providers for those purposes and lasts until the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup, legal, safety, and technical retention. You confirm that this licence does not violate anyone else’s rights.

Do not download, copy, import, rebroadcast, or monetise another person’s content unless the rights holder or law clearly permits it. Availability on another website does not give you permission to upload it to Peekaflix.

Safety rules

You must not post or facilitate illegal content; child sexual abuse material; grooming or sexualisation of minors; pornography or explicit sexual activity; sexual solicitation; non-consensual intimate material; exploitation or trafficking; credible threats; incitement; terrorism support; hateful conduct; bullying or targeted harassment; doxxing; graphic cruelty intended to shock or glorify harm; dangerous challenges; self-harm promotion; fraud; scams; spam; malware; impersonation; privacy violations; or intellectual-property infringement.

An 18+ label does not make prohibited sexual, exploitative, illegal, or extremely harmful material acceptable. The complete rules and examples are in our Community Guidelines.

Reporting, blocking, and moderation

Viewers can report videos and clips from the content screen, and signed-in users can block a creator. Additional concerns can be submitted through our public safety contact form. Reports must be truthful and not abusive.

We may review, restrict, age-gate, demonetise, reject, remove, or preserve content; limit features; or suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably needed to enforce these Terms, protect users, investigate reports, or comply with law. Serious risk may require immediate action. We may use automated signals to prioritise review, but enforcement decisions may be appealed through Contact Us. We do not guarantee that every submission will be published or remain available.

Copyright and other rights

Rights holders can submit a sufficiently detailed notice using the process in our Copyright Policy. We may remove material and terminate repeat infringers. Knowingly false notices, counter-notices, or rights declarations may create legal liability.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the Service; bypass access, territorial, safety, or rights controls; scrape or automate access without permission; probe security; transmit malicious code; collect personal information without authority; manipulate engagement; misuse reporting or support systems; or use the Service in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.

Payments and creator features

Where web or creator features permit transactions, additional displayed terms, eligibility checks, fees, taxes, payout thresholds, and payment-provider rules apply. Refund and payout rights are governed by the terms shown for that transaction and mandatory law. Buyer payment, tipping, stock-video, and marketplace features are not offered inside the iOS app. Do not use another route to evade platform or Service payment rules.

Third-party services

The Service may link to third-party websites or use providers for infrastructure, authentication, security, notifications, and payments. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. A link does not mean that Peekaflix owns or endorses third-party content. The iOS catalogue is limited to first-party uploads that have passed our rights-review process.

Ending your account

You can initiate permanent deletion at Settings > Delete account. We may suspend or end access for a material or repeated breach, serious safety risk, legal requirement, fraud, or prolonged inability to operate the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including rights, licences already exercised, enforcement records, disclaimers, and dispute provisions—continue after termination.

Service availability and responsibility

We work to keep the Service safe and available, but it may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, it is provided “as is” and without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. You are responsible for your content, rights, conduct, device, and internet access.

Changes, disputes, and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect Service, safety, or legal changes. We will post the revised Terms and change the date above; material changes may also be communicated in the Service. The law and courts that must apply under mandatory consumer or local law remain available to you. Otherwise, disputes are governed by the law applicable to the Service operator.
